A city lawyer was dramatically arrested in Westlands, Nairobi, on Thursday, September 10, after allegedly threatening to jump from the eighth floor of his office building to evade Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers.

• The lawyer faces charges for allegedly presenting forged documents, including signatures for a purported Ksh150 million fee agreement, before the Employment and Labour Relations Court.
• The DCI, acting on a directive from the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), apprehended the suspect after he failed to appear at the Parklands Police Station as summoned.
• During his arrest, the lawyer allegedly bit two police officers and will face additional charges for his conduct.
