The Panel of Experts on Compensation of Victims of Human Rights Violations has approved compensation for over 100 uniformed officers who suffered human rights violations, as part of an ongoing reparations program.

• A total of 1,083 claims across various victim categories have been processed to date.
• The program, managed by the Panel of Experts, compensates victims of incidents related to demonstrations and public protests.
• The total compensation disbursed under the wider program has reached Ksh1.014 billion.
