- The new dispensary will offer outpatient services, maternal and child healthcare, laboratory, and pharmaceutical services.
- Governor Waiguru highlighted this opening as part of a broader strategy to strengthen primary healthcare, with over 13 new dispensaries now operational across Kirinyaga.
- The county is also investing in higher-level facilities and has recruited over 64 healthcare workers in the last financial year, with more to be hired this year.
