The National Assembly has approved a Sh6.5 million deal for private audit firm M/s MGI Alekim LLP to audit the Office of the Auditor-General (OAG) for three financial years.

• The firm secured the contract at a significantly lower cost than previous audits.
• M/s MGI Alekim LLP was selected after outbidding five other firms whose proposals were deemed nonresponsive.
• This audit costs approximately four times less than the Sh25.5 million paid to M/s PKF Kenya LLP in 2024 for a similar service.
