Kenya has launched a new road safety training program for schools to combat a rise in road fatalities. The initiative aims to equip learners with essential road safety knowledge through structured learning materials.
- 491 people have died in road crashes in the first eight months of this year.
- The program is a partnership between CFAO Mobility Kenya, the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA), and the Kenya Scouts Association (KSA).
- The first phase will target primary and secondary schools in Nairobi.
