The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has successfully intercepted a significant haul of smuggled goods, including cigarettes, shisha products, and powdered milk, with a combined value of Sh46.77 million. This operation prevents a potential loss of Sh29.177 million in taxes.

• The seized items include ORIS cigarettes valued at Sh30.6 million and shisha products worth Sh8.398 million.
• KRA officers, acting on intelligence, apprehended a suspect in Eldoret who was using a passenger bus to transport the illicit goods from Uganda.
• The intercepted powdered milk products were worth Sh7.768 million, including brands like LATO and NAN Optipro.
