Residents of Mathare have issued a 14-day ultimatum to Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja to account for the disappearance of three men, threatening demonstrations if their demands are not met.

• The IG has been given 14 days to provide answers regarding the missing men: Michael Oloo, Maximillian Kiarie, and Abdul Aziz.
• The ultimatum was issued by residents, led by Utalii Social Justice Centre, during a peace-promoting football tournament.
• Human rights activist Irene Nyambega stated that the community will protest outside the Nairobi police headquarters if the men are not found.
