A Kenyan cleric, Rev Fredrick Beuchi, has reached Everest Base Camp after a 17-day trek to raise awareness about epilepsy, challenging the misconception that it is a result of witchcraft.

• The Methodist Church of Kenya cleric was motivated by his personal experience caring for his sister and wife, both of whom live with epilepsy.
