Activist Boniface Muteti Mulinge, who had been reported missing after an alleged arrest during a protest in Nairobi on September 21st, has been found alive but injured in Lukenya, Machakos County.

• Mulinge was found early Friday, injured and disoriented, after allegedly being dumped in the area.
• Human rights official Hussein Khaled confirmed Mulinge was found and taken to hospital.
• His disappearance had led to a court case seeking to compel the National Police Service and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to account for his whereabouts.
