Kenya is currently experiencing a stockout of two types of oral contraceptive pills, with new supplies not expected until December.

• A funding gap of Sh2.5 billion exists between the Ministry of Health's estimated annual requirement for family planning commodities and the amount allocated by the National Treasury.
