President William Ruto is set to embark on a tour of the Coast region starting Saturday, which will include breaking ground for the Sh2 trillion Dangote refinery in Lamu.

The tour will see the issuance of nearly 200,000 title deeds across Taita-Taveta, Kwale, Kilifi, Mombasa, Tana River, and Lamu counties.
Key project: The groundbreaking for the $16 billion (KSh2 trillion) East Africa Refinery, a joint venture between the Kenyan Government and Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote.
The refinery is expected to process crude from Lokichar and create over 500,000 jobs, enhancing regional energy security.
