A Kenyan civil society group is warning of rising tensions and potential conflict ahead of the 2027 General Election, urging early intervention and stronger community-led peacebuilding efforts.

• Echo Network Africa Foundation (ENAF) is advocating for proactive measures to identify and address emerging tensions before they escalate.
• ENAF's Tuvuke Initiative has trained 52 Women Peace Champions in five counties to detect and manage conflict.
• The organization also called for enhanced support for community peace actors, particularly women, and urged the public to verify information before sharing to prevent the spread of rumors that could fuel tensions.
