A former housekeeper testified in court that Tob Cohen cried "you are killing me" during an alleged violent assault by his wife, Sarah Wairimu Kamotho, months before his murder in July 2019.

• Chrispinus Shihemi, the former housekeeper, recounted witnessing Wairimu allegedly holding a plastic chair over a bleeding Cohen on February 8, 2019.
• Sarah Wairimu Kamotho is accused of murdering her husband, Tob Cohen, on the night of July 19 and 20, 2019.
• The witness also described growing household tensions, including Cohen avoiding home-cooked meals and damage to furniture and his bedroom following the alleged assault.
