President William Ruto used profanity and personal attacks against opposition leaders during a development tour in Bungoma County on March 17, 2027. East Africa Legislative Assembly lawmaker Winnie Odinga has announced her intention to vie for the ODM deputy party leader position. She has been endorsed by Nairobi ODM delegates to serve as deputy party leader alongside Dr Oburu Oginga, signaling a potential unity move within the Orange Democratic Movement.
