EACC Warns of Weak Justice System; ODPP Orders Governor Guyo's Arrest - September 2025

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has issued a warning that a weak justice system is impeding Kenya’s efforts in the fight against corruption. Concurrently, the EACC and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) are reportedly at odds over a corruption contract involving Obado. In a separate directive, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has ordered the arrest of Governor Guyo.
