Christians across Kenya flocked to various churches to celebrate Christmas Day with worship services and festivities. Christian faithful gathered in churches nationwide on Christmas Day to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, with the faithful at Holy Family Catholic Church Utawala gathering for a Christmas vigil Mass. During the celebrations, Archbishop Winnie Owiti called upon Kenyans to maintain hope despite prevailing challenges. Father Lawrence Micheni of the Catholic Diocese of Meru also encouraged Kenyans to maintain hope during the festivities. In a separate Christmas message, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka called on Kenyans to embrace prayer, unity, and justice.
