President Ruto Launches Development Projects Across Kenyan Counties - March 2026

President William Ruto on Tuesday visited Migori County to inspect the ongoing modernization of Lichota Airstrip, a Sh280 million project. The President also visited Siaya County on Tuesday to officially launch the construction of the Usenge Beach Pier. At the same time, residents of Homa Bay are set to benefit from a new Sh1.5 billion project launched by President Ruto aimed at eradicating persistent power outages in the region. Additionally, President Ruto announced projects to boost fish stocks in Lake Victoria and support fishermen's safety.
