Kenya Ports Authority CEO Capt. William K. Ruto was injured in a road accident on Friday evening that tragically resulted in his daughter's death. This incident adds to the spate of road accidents ravaging Kenya's highways. In a separate fatal accident, 11 people were killed in Gilgil along the busy Nairobi-Nakuru Highway. Meanwhile, another serious multi-vehicle crash occurred in Kericho involving Simba Coach and Dreamliner buses, leaving 20 people injured.
