Kiambu Governor Challenges MPs to Account for Ksh15 Billion CDF Allocation - May 2026

Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi has challenged Members of Parliament from his county to account for their use of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) allocations. A parliamentary committee held a public consultation in Kajiado County to gather citizen feedback on the upcoming national budget for the current fiscal year. The Garissa County budget committee has been directed to hold public participation forums as part of the annual financial budget preparation process, while a parliamentary budget committee held a meeting in Voi to gather proposals from residents of Taita Taveta County for inclusion in the national budget.
