Gachagua Vows to Continue Exposing Alleged Deals by Ruto - August 2026

Democracy for the Citizens Party leader Rigathi Gachagua has vowed to continue exposing alleged secret government dealings he claims threaten the lives and livelihoods of Kenyans. Gachagua is intensifying his Mt Kenya political offensive against leaders backing President Ruto, working to consolidate support in the region. He also stated that Kenyans will guard their votes after voting in 2027, responding to Murkomen. Separately, the Luhya Council of Elders has endorsed Edwin Sifuna for presidential bid under the United Opposition.
