Sh9.68bn Medical Equipment Installed Across Health Facilities - August 2026

Kenya's Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale announced that Sh9.68 billion worth of medical equipment has been successfully installed across 251 health facilities nationwide. President William Ruto presided over the National Health Summit at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi. Separately, the government deployed Sh9.8bn medical equipment to 239 health facilities. Residents of Kilifi are urging the government to bring Tuberculosis testing equipment closer to their communities to reduce costly hospital journeys.
