Talanta Stadium Set to Host First Test Match in October - August 2026

The Raila Odinga Stadium at the Talanta Sports City Complex is scheduled to host its first match in October. The 60,000-seater facility is now more than 94 per cent complete and is slated for readiness by November, with final works commencing as it prepares for its official opening. The stadium's pitch and seating are now complete, making it a state-of-the-art facility. Meanwhile, Kenya is set to host the prestigious ANOCA Zone 5 Youth Games in Nairobi from August 25 to 27, bringing together athletes from 11 nations.
