The Harambee Stars are set to make their debut in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) starting on August 2, co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

Harambee Stars head coach Benni McCarthy has named three debutants in the national squad for the upcoming 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN), set to take place in East Africa.

• The newly called players are Keith Imbali from Shabana FC and Yakeen Muteheli and Staphod Odhiambo from Ulinzi Stars.
• The tournament will run from August 2 to August 30 and features group matches against DR Congo, Angola, Morocco, and Zambia.
• This marks Kenya's first participation in CHAN, having last competed in a major continental event in 2019.
