Meanwhile, a major ruling in Kakamega County nullified Musingu Boys' victory, crowning Butere Boys High School as the new champions due to the use of ineligible players by both Musingu and Kakamega High School.

• The Kakamega County final between Musingu Boys and Butere Boys was overturned by a Ministry of Education ruling on July 4, 2025.
