Former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has joined Goldman Sachs as a senior advisor following his resignation in July 2024.

• Sunak will provide part-time advisory services to the bank and donate his salary to The Richmond Project, a charity he founded.
• David Solomon, chairman and chief executive of Goldman Sachs, expressed excitement about Sunak's return to the firm.
• Sunak cannot advise other governments or clients he dealt with during his time as prime minister due to restrictions set by the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (Acoba).

The ICT Authority of Kenya is advertising the position of Chief Executive Officer following the dismissal of Stanley Kamanguya last week due to procedural irregularities.

• July 1, 2025 marked the termination of Kamanguya's role, which the Board had initially recommended extending.
• The new CEO must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields and complete a leadership course.
• The recruitment follows a High Court ruling that halted discussions on Kamanguya’s replacement until a pending petition was resolved.
