Former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has joined Goldman Sachs as a senior advisor following his resignation in July 2024.

• Sunak will provide part-time advisory services to the bank and donate his salary to The Richmond Project, a charity he founded.
• David Solomon, chairman and chief executive of Goldman Sachs, expressed excitement about Sunak's return to the firm.
• Sunak cannot advise other governments or clients he dealt with during his time as prime minister due to restrictions set by the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (Acoba).
