Following two patient murders at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) this year, Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has issued urgent directives to all national referral hospitals aimed at enhancing patient safety and security.

The Social Health Authority (SHA) will now fully cover the cost of a vital cancer therapy for breast and gastric cancers in Kenya, following a new deal between the Ministry of Health and Roche Pharmaceuticals.
