Safaricom's KES 3M Sponsorships and Price Reductions in August - August 2025
Safaricom has actively engaged in initiatives and customer promotions in August. The company, through its youth platform Safaricom Hook, announced a KES 3 million sponsorship for the 8th edition of the National Science and Technology Exhibition by Young Scientists Kenya (YSK). This contribution brings Safaricom's total sponsorship to YSK since 2018 to KES 65 million. The event, held from August 5 to 9 at Moi Educational Centre in South C, Nairobi, highlights young innovators' research projects. Additionally, Safaricom has announced a 25% discount on home fibre prices for new customers signing up in August, aiming to attract more subscribers to its internet services.
