Equity Bank has awarded scholarships worth Sh2.8 billion to 128 students from East and Central Africa for studies at prestigious global universities through its Equity Leaders Program (ELP).

• 128 students received scholarships, with 87 from Kenya, 4 from Uganda, 33 from Rwanda, and 4 from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
• The scholarships, valued at Sh2.79 billion for four-year undergraduate studies, include an additional airlift token of up to Sh200,000.
• 16 students from this cohort are heading to Ivy League universities, including Harvard University, Princeton University, and Columbia University.

KCB Group has announced a record Sh13 billion dividend payout following an impressive 8 percent growth in profit after tax to Sh32.3 billion for the first half of 2025. This significant financial performance reinforces the bank's strong position in the market.
