Four Family Members, Including a Baby, Killed in Suspected Nyamira Arson Attack - August 2025

Police are investigating a suspected arson attack in Nyamira where four family members perished. The victims, including a three-month-old baby, were burnt alive after their house's main door was locked from the outside. One child is reported to have miraculously survived the ordeal. Police are also investigating reports that the perpetrators tied the victims' hands and forced them to ingest petrol before setting the house on fire. The four family members were tragically burnt to death inside the house.
