Victims Testify Before Parliamentary Committee About Kidney Trafficking in Eldoret - August 2025
Victims have testified before the National Assembly Health Committee in Eldoret about being deceived into an alleged kidney trafficking business. During the sessions, they told MPs they were tricked into donating kidneys for financial compensation. Two victims, Emmanuel Kipkosgei and Amon Kipruto, recounted how they were promised payments for their kidneys. Other victims linked the alleged illegal trade to Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret, claiming their IDs were altered to falsely connect them to transplant recipients and that they received inadequate compensation.
