In infrastructure news, Facebook's Edge Network Services is co-financing Safaricom's new subsea fiber optic project, the Daraja Cable. This project will link Oman to Mombasa, Kenya. The cable is expected to go live in 2026, aiming to provide Kenya with faster and more reliable internet.
