Kenyan Companies Launch AI Chatbot, Wellness App, and Startup Accelerator - October 2025
Kenya Power has launched an AI chatbot named ‘Nuru’ and upgraded its MyPower App to significantly enhance customer service and streamline interactions. In a similar digital move, Old Mutual has launched Thrive, a new digital wellness platform designed to combat Kenya's rising burnout crisis. Safaricom's Spark Accelerator Programme has also selected ten startups for its second cohort from over 200 applicants. This three-month initiative aims to help ventures like DigiTax and FlexPay scale through workshops, mentorship, and engagement with Safaricom and M-PESA platforms.
