Samsung is rapidly expanding its One UI 8 (based on Android 16) rollout across East Africa, following yesterday's updates to several Galaxy A series phones. The latest devices to receive the update include the Galaxy A55, the entire Galaxy S22 series, and the Galaxy Tab S10 family.

Apple is bringing back the Slide Over multitasking feature in iPadOS 26.1 Beta 2, reversing a controversial removal in iPadOS 26. This decision follows significant user feedback regarding productivity and workflow flexibility.
