Samsung is rapidly expanding its One UI 8 (based on Android 16) rollout across East Africa, following yesterday's updates to several Galaxy A series phones. The latest devices to receive the update include the Galaxy A55, the entire Galaxy S22 series, and the Galaxy Tab S10 family.
- The One UI 8 update is rolling out via OTA to the Galaxy A55 (version A556EXXUACYIA), Galaxy S22 series (build number GYIF), and Galaxy Tab S10 series (build CYI5 or BYI7 for FE models).
- Samsung is the company behind this extensive software update.
- The update is being rolled out to users in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Sudan, DRC, Seychelles, Djibouti, Rwanda, and Somalia.
