Kenya's National Teams Compete in Football, Triathlon, and Boxing Championships - October 2025
The Harambee Stars football team secured a 1-0 victory over Burundi in a 2026 World Cup Qualifiers match, with coach Benni McCarthy praising his team's resilience. This win moves Kenya to 12 points in Group F. Concurrently, Kenya is hosting the seventh edition of the Africa Duathlon and Triathlon Cup in Kilifi, where athletes from 12 countries are competing for Olympic and World Championship ranking points. A 20-member Kenyan squad, led by captains Joseph Okal and Bernice Kariuki, is set to compete. Additionally, Kenyan boxers are vowing to win the overall title at the upcoming Africa Zone Three Championships being held in Nairobi.
