One Body Recovered, Search Continues for 3 Missing After Mombasa Boat Accident - October 2025

Three individuals are missing and a search is underway after a boat capsized at sea during the East Africa Ocean Festival in Mombasa. Following the accident, one body has been recovered. The search for the three missing bodies from what is being called the Mombasa ocean tragedy has now entered its third day. A multi-agency team is continuing the search for the three individuals who drowned in the Indian Ocean. Efforts are still underway to locate the missing persons.
