Former SHA CEO Robert Ingasira and Co-accused Charged in Sh17.5 Million Fraud Case - October 2025
Several executives from the Social Health Authority (SHA), including former acting CEO Robert Ingasira, were arrested in connection with fraud cases cleared by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). Ingasira and four others were charged with conspiracy to defraud the SHA of Sh17.5 million through fake medical claims. The charges include conspiracy to defraud, falsification of records, and misuse of funds. After being arraigned on Thursday, October 30, Ingasira and his four co-accused denied the accusations and were released on Ksh 500,000 bail each.
