Kenya Airways (KQ) has partnered with Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) in a deal to boost medical tourism in Africa and position Kenya as a leading healthcare destination. In the agricultural sector, the Kenyan government and the Kenya Veterinary Association (KVA) have launched a digital e-voucher livestock vaccination and breeding program. This initiative aims to increase the livestock sector's contribution to Kenya's GDP from 12 to 20 percent. The program leverages digital tools to enhance the accessibility and affordability of animal health services. Separately, Chinese automaker Jetour has officially entered the Kenyan market, launching a range of four premium mid-SUV models. Jetour's entry signals a long-term commitment to the country, with stated plans for expansion and local assembly.
