Threats and Disruptions Surround Rigathi Gachagua's Political Rallies - November 2025
An opposition rally in Gilgil, Nakuru County, led by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was disrupted by suspected goons, causing attendees to scatter for safety. In a separate incident, Gachagua wrote to Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja ahead of a visit to Mbeere North, reporting alleged threats against him and demanding the arrest of individuals seen in a viral video. Additionally, Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) party leader Moses Kuria alleged a UDA-linked plot involving a Ksh10 million debt to attack Gachagua’s upcoming campaign tour on November 27.
