Athletics Kenya Constitutional Review Faces Challenges as Govt Pledges Anti-Doping Support - November 2025
The ongoing review of Athletics Kenya's (AK) constitution is facing significant challenges due to contentious issues that threaten to slow down reforms. These issues are creating a division between the federation and critical stakeholders as the process of gathering views nears completion. Amidst this, the government has assured the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) of its continued support. At a seminar in Nairobi, Secretary of Administration Evans Achoki emphasized the need for robust anti-doping systems to protect the country's sporting reputation. Separately, athletics legends Douglas Wakihuri, Daniel Komen, and George Kariuki are set to headline the Windsor Mini Marathon this Saturday at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club.
