Kenyan Teams Compete in International Kabaddi, Rugby, Deaflympics, and Basketball Tournaments - November 2025
Kenya's national teams are competing in several international tournaments across different sports. The women's Kabaddi squad has arrived in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for the 2nd Women’s Kabaddi World Cup, which runs from November 17–24 with 12 nations participating. In Nairobi, the Kenya Lionesses are set to face Zimbabwe in the quarter-finals of the Rugby Africa Women’s Sevens after dominant preliminary wins. The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) women's basketball team secured a spot in the 2025 Women Basketball League Africa (WBLA) final in Cairo, Egypt, after an 89-81 overtime win against Burundi’s Les Hippos. Additionally, Kenya's women's basketball and men's handball teams began their campaigns at the Tokyo 2025 Summer Deaflympics in Japan.
