DP Gachagua Accuses IEBC of Interference Ahead of By-Elections - November 2025

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has accused the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) of interfering in the Magarini by-election in Kilifi County. In response, the IEBC assured Rigathi Gachagua of a free and fair election on Thursday and issued a stern warning against inflammatory remarks. Separately, pandemonium erupted in Narok County after DP Gachagua was reportedly blocked while en route to campaign for his party's candidate in the Narok Town Ward by-election.
