Flutterwave has expanded its Send App remittance solution to the United States and reintroduced full support for major international credit cards, enabling more flexible transfers to various African countries. In another financial technology development, Visa has expanded its stablecoin settlement capabilities in the CEMEA region through a partnership with Aquanow. This collaboration integrates Aquanow’s digital asset infrastructure with Visa’s technology to accelerate cross-border transactions using stablecoins like USDC. Separately, the City of Ekurhuleni in South Africa has implemented Huawei’s Xinghe Intelligent High-Quality 10 Gbps Campus Network Solution. This new system was installed to address the city's outdated network infrastructure, poor Wi-Fi coverage, and data security concerns on its electric power campuses.
