The City of Ekurhuleni (COE) in South Africa has implemented Huawei’s Xinghe Intelligent High-Quality 10 Gbps Campus Network Solution to address outdated network infrastructure, poor Wi-Fi coverage, and data security concerns on its electric power campuses.

The solution upgraded the network from Wi-Fi 5 to Wi-Fi 7, significantly boosting office efficiency.
Huawei’s Wi-Fi Shield technology was deployed to prevent data eavesdropping in sensitive areas.
The COE is 97% urbanized and a major industrial hub in Gauteng Province.
A new digital map platform enhances O&M efficiency through centralized device management and network visualization.
