The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Central Committee met in Vipingo, Kilifi County, and decided to initiate pre-election coalition talks with various parties, including President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA), for the August 2027 elections. The major political party appears to be facing an internal crisis following the key meeting in Kilifi on Monday. Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna and Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah were conspicuously absent from the gathering.
