Former WBC women's Super bantamweight champion Fatuma Zarika is set to revive her boxing career and challenge for a world title, following a multi-million shillings sponsorship investment by gaming firm SportPesa. This initiative aims to bolster Kenyan boxing, rugby, and rally sports.

• SportPesa unveiled a Ksh 40 million sponsorship for UFS BXNG, among other sports.
• The partnership with UFS BXNG is expected to facilitate Zarika's challenge for an international diadem this season.
• Kenya Rugby Union also received Ksh 40 million to support the HSBC World Rugby SVNS2 series in Nairobi on February 14-15.
• Rally driver Leonardo Varese and navigator Kigo Kareithi, of the SportPesa Racing team, received similar support for the WRC Safari Rally in Naivasha from March 12-15.

A CAF team is set to inspect stadiums in Kenya next month as the nation prepares to co-host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) with Uganda and Tanzania.

• Construction at Talanta City Stadium (to be renamed Raila Odinga International Stadium) is at 85% completion.
• Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya stated the inspection is to ensure facilities meet CAF and Fifa standards.
• Rehabilitation works are also ongoing at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, and Nyayo National Stadium.
