The Kipsigis Myoot Elders Council announced plans for a purification ceremony following the tragic deaths of Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ngeno and five other individuals, aiming to prevent similar future calamities. KANU Chairman Gideon Moi visited and condoled with the family of the late MP. Deputy President Kithure Kindiki pledged ongoing government support for the families of all six victims. Siaya Senator Oburu Odinga urged politicians against interpreting malice in the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of the MP and five others. Meanwhile, a candle lighting event was held in Eldoret to honor the late MP, with his wife Naiyanoi Ntutu penning a heartfelt tribute describing her profound sense of loss.
