KRA Officers at Jomo Kenyatta Airport to Wear Body Cameras to Curb Corruption - March 2026

In a significant move to combat corruption and tax evasion, Kenya Revenue Authority officials at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport are now required to wear body-worn cameras. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has activated its instant fines system for road traffic offenders, a move aimed at enhancing road safety and curbing corruption. NTSA has defended its new system for issuing instant fines to motorists caught violating traffic laws. The authority has also launched a new system aimed at improving the enforcement of traffic laws and is deploying automated speed cameras.
