Over 20,000 Bungoma Farmers Receive Free Seeds for Planting Season - March 2026

Over 20,000 farmers in Bungoma County have received free seeds for the current planting season, a initiative aimed at supporting agricultural productivity in the region. Similarly, Samburu County has launched a seed distribution program to improve agricultural production and empower local farmers while enhancing food security. Approximately 5,000 women and youth in Kenya are set to benefit from new funding aimed at promoting climate-smart agriculture. Meanwhile, residents of Mumias in Kakamega County are expressing concerns about a declining economy and appealing to President Ruto during his visit to the Western region.
